So sad to hear of his passing. Mr. Spring was my math, Spanish & phys ed teacher in 7th grade at Holy Cross in the late ‘70’s. I remember him fondly. My sincere condolences to the family.

I have fond memories of Mr. Spring when he taught at Holy Cross. He was really nice and a great teacher. And if I remember correctly He had a wife and young children at the time. My condolences to his family. I will always remember him as part of my life at Holy Cross.

My condolences to the Spring family as I got to know Carl and his goodness he shared. I met him in many different church basements throughout many of Hartford's communities. He had an amazing knack and ability to verbalize his blessings;varying from traveling to visit his extended loving family or vacationing at the Cape or just taking in a Boston Red Sox game. Coach Carl will be missed; as he joins the big meeting in the sky.
