I would like to offer my condolences to the family on the loss of Herman. As someone that has known Herman and his family all of my life I can truly say he was a special person and friend, and very good at what he did. He always seemed to know where the fish were, even when nobody else could find them. Herman and Mary were truly missed when they stopped coming to camp. I know it was hard for them to stop coming to North Hero, because they loved it so much, I can't think of many people that vacationed at the same place for the almost 60 years a true testament to how much they loved North Hero.
