Obituary of Mary M. Andrecs

Mary M. (Deutsch) Andrecs, 91, formerly of New Britain, died Friday May 18, 2018, in Long Island, NY.  Born in Austria, the daughter of the late George and Johanna (Mandel) Deutsch, she lived in New Britain many years, moving to Long Island in 2005.  She had been employed for several years at the Superior Court in New Britain, was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter Church and a member of the Church’s Ladies Guild. After retirement, she volunteered in the rectory of St. Peter Church for several years.

Mrs. Andrecs is survived by two daughters, Linda and her husband Gary Bernstein of Long Island, NY, and Carol Andrecs of Guilford; two granddaughters, Jennifer Bernstein and her husband, Dominic Piccirillo, and Alyssa Bernstein; a sister JoAnn Meisterling of Berlin, two nieces and one nephew and her beloved cat, Sweetie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Church, 98 Franklin Sq., New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
