Dear Bette Ann and Family:
I treasure the memories of all the wonderful time I've shared at your home. Your house was always "home" to everyone who walked through the door and you were always made to feel like a cherished relative. Joe and Bette Ann taught me how to make kugeli, beet soup and to drink the krupnikas and raspberry aperetif. I learned a lot about bees and it was always a wonder that Joe knew everything about those bees and was willing to share his many stories. Living in the same neighborhood, my daughter went to school with Teresa and Cori sends her best regards. The ragoulis was always a big hit with all my friends and family. Many years ago when my friend Liz was planning her wedding, she asked me if I knew anyone who made it. I said no, but that was my job for the wedding, to find someone. Well, in walked the UPS guy and asked if he could use the phone. I said yes, and when I heard him say "Liudzius here" I almost fell through the floor. It was Ray and he certainly led me to the right place! That was just short of a miracle, to find him so quickly. All wonderful, wonderful memories of Joe and Bette Ann and their children.
