Michael W. Kelly, 73, of Berlin, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Ledgecrest Health Care Center in Berlin. Michael was born in New Britain, the son of the late Raymond and Mary (McCue) Kelly. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Mike worked many years at McCue Mortgage in New Britain. Among his hobbies he spent many hours with his friends fishing and tinkering with his electronics.
In addition to his parents, Mike is predeceased by his partner Wendy Teti; his brother Raymond and his sister Claire. He is survived by Wendy’s daughters, Robin and Colleen; 4 grandchildren, Xavier (Jake), Ashlynn, Yesse and Ivory and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday (Feb. 2, 2017) from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will be private in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter 200 Executive Boulevard, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
