Obituary of Mark Perkins

Mark F. Perkins of Williamsburg, MA, passed away October 28, 2012. Born in Bristol, CT, he was the son of the late Anne and John Perkins. Mark is survived by his two children, Stephanie and Timothy of Rocky Hill, CT, his brother Jack and his wife Betsy Perkins of Stonington, CT, his sister Nancy and her husband Daniel Orlich of Palm Coast, FL and several nieces and nephews. Mark was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corp and a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mark felt privileged to serve his country and honored to be born an American. Wherever Mark was, even during his last year in various hospitals, one could hear the echos of laughter streaming out from his room as his quick wit entertained hospital staff, passers-by and family members. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his close friend…"Shadow", his labradoodle. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
