OBITUARIES
Frederick J. Kiefer, 77, of New Britain, died Wednesday at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in New Haven, the son of the late Frederick and Georgianna (White) Kiefer, he lived in New Britain most of his life. He was employed for over twenty five years at StanChem Inc. in East Berlin, and later worked at Moore Medical in New Britain. He was a member of St. Jerome Church.
Fred is survived by his sisters Cecelia and her husband Patrick Collin of Bristol; Jacquelyn and her husband Louis Mildrum of Lyme and his brother James and his wife Carol Dumas of Umatilla, FL; and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held Tuesday (July 6, 2010) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at St. Jerome Church 1010 Slater Road
New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
