Obituary of Eileen Cyr

Eileen (Fracchia) Cyr, 63, of Old Saybrook died early Sunday Morning at her home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Aldo and Ann (Varhol) Fracchia, she lived in Bristol many years, moving to Old Saybrook twelve years ago. She was a member of St. John's Church in Old Saybrook. Eileen is survived by her husband George Cyr; a daughter Valerie and her husband Peter Nye of Clinton, two sons Kenneth and his wife Stephanie Cyr of Wethersfield and Keith Cyr of Wethersfield; four grandchildren Georgia, James, Andrew and John Nye; two sisters Diane and her husband Bruce McKinnon of Plainville, Carol Pare of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Family and Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00 at St. John's Church 161 Main St. Old Saybrook. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain.
