Obituary of Lucille Putorak

Lucy (Perone) Putorak, 87, of New Britain, died Thursday (Aug.23,2012) at home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena (Formato) Perone, she was a lifelong resident. She was the wife of the late Leo Putorak. Long time employee of the Lerners Shop on Main St. in New Britain, she was also a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church. Mrs. Putorak is survived by her children Leo Putorak, Jr. and his wife Carol of Aiea, Hawaii, Martin Putorak and his wife Nancy of Newington, Audrey Putorak of New Britain and Douglas Putorak of New Britain; her grandchildren Renn and Reika Putorak of Hawaii, Trisha and Jerry Godinez of Lacey, Washington, Brian and Nicole Putorak of Stratford, Sara Putorak of New London and Kyle Putorak of Newington; two great grand children Malia Putorak of Lacey Washington and Kia Putorak of Hawaii, and a sister Mary Hamling of California. She was predeceased by a sister Christine Pepe and a brother Joseph Perone. Funeral services will be held Thursday (Aug.30,2012) at 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
