Obituary of Lena A. Tedesco

Lena A. Tedesco, 88, of New Britain, died Sunday at the Jefferson House in Newington. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Dominic and Vincenza Tedesco, she was a lifelong resident. She had been employed as a printer for many years at Landers, Frary & Clark and at Loctite and was a member of St. Joseph's Church. Lena was known in the last several years for making coffee for all her friends at Seven-Eleven in Berlin.
Lena is survived by her nieces and nephews Barbara Gravel, Beverly Morris, Maryann Tedesco, Virginia Cyr, John Tesdesco and Richard Mancini; her great nieces and great nephews Lisa Marrero, Michele Roy, Angela Mancini, Allison Mancini, Tricia Tedesco, John Tedesco, Albert J. Mancini; her great great niece Danielle Allocca and great great nephews Anthony Allocca, Jeremy Allocca and Nicholas Allocca. And her best friend of over 50 years Evelyn Spinney and her family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 8:15 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to their favorite charity in Lena's name
