Obituary of Doris H. Margentino

Doris (Hanson) Margentino, 97, of Newington, formely of New Britain and Berlin, passed away March 19, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Ernie and Mae (Stachelek) Hanson Surviving are two sons, Paul Margentino and his wife Sandy of New Britain, Peter Margentino and his wife Debbie of Unionville, daughter Dori-Ann Platosh and her husband Jim of Farmington, daughter-in-law Laurie (Wassil) Margentino of Berlin, a sister, Maryann Tata of Bradenton Florida, 11 Grand Children and 11 Great Grand Children. She was predeceased by her husband Francis 'Butch' Margentino, son RobertMargentino, daughter Linda (D'Amato) Margentino, Grandson Jamie Margentino, Grandson Marc Warzocha and her sister Virginia Wesoly. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (March 23) at 10:30 am from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main Street New Britain. Burial will follow at Maple Cemetery 1164 Worthington Rdg Berlin. Visitation will be held Tuesday (March 22) from 4:00 -6:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Jefferson House 1 John H Stewart Dr. Newington CT 06111.
