Obituary of Marie Piersanti

Marie Piersanti, 91, of New Britain, died Monday (Jan. 9,2012) at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late John and Clementina (Fasdelli) Piersanti, she was a life long resident. A graduate of New Britain High School, she attended Moody School of Business and worked at North & Judd Manufacturing Co. for over forty years, retiring in 1982. She truly enjoyed traveling and volunteering at the New Britain Museum of Art and she was also a member of St. Ann's Church. Marie is survived by her cousin Fannie Lepito and was predeceased by her brother Albo J. Piersanti, who died Jan. 3, 2009. Funeral services will be held Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Church North St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations, may be made to St. Ann's Church c/o 47 North Street New Britain.
