Obituary of Margaret Bazzoni

Margaret Theresa (Spooner) Bazzoni passed away on May 4, 2013and joined her beloved husband Andrew E. Bazzoni. Born June 7, 1915, in Saybrook, CT, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Smith) Spooner and she lived most of her life in New Britain. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at Smith and Klebes, Inc. in New Britain.. She was a Girls Scout Leader and belonged to the BA Club. Among her hobbies, Margaret enjoyed gardening, painting, and drawing. She was an avid reader, loved the Red Sox and will enjoy watching them win the World Series this year from above with Andy. Margaret is survived her sister- Mary Louise Keogh of MA; her daughter Rita Zellman and her husband Bill Zellman of New Jersey; three grandchildren Patty and Jeff McPhie of PA, Lisa and Bruce Theriault of CT and Tom and Kristine Zellman of NJ; seven great grandchildren (her pride and joy) Noah, Philip, Avery, Amelia, Colter, Emily and Aiden. She was predeceased by her brother James Spooner. Margaret loved her family very much and was very proud of all their accomplishments, both big and small. She was an amazing woman, who will be dearly missed. A special thank you to the staff of Ingraham Manor (Bristol, CT) for the loving care she was shown daily. She loved you all, and her family was so grateful to know she was loved and well cared for during her stay there. A Memorial Mass will be held at St Joseph Church (New Britain, CT) on Friday (May 10, 2013) at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations be made to Ingraham Manor 400 North Main Street, Bristol, CT 06010.
