Obituary of Concetta Lombardo

Concetta (D'Acurla) Lombardo, 89, of New Britain, died Monday at an area convalescent home. Born in Priolo, Italy, the daughter of the late Francisco and Salvatrica (Fazzina) D'Acurla, she came to this country in 1959. She had been employed as a dress maker for various companies and was a member of St. Ann's Church. Her husband predeceased her on April 21, 2010. Mrs. Lomdardo is survived by her son Sebastiano Lombardo of New Britain, three Carmello D'Acurla , Vincenzo D'Acurla and Antonio D'Acurla all of Italy and a niece Salvatricia Lacana of Old Lyme. Funeral services will be held Wednesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Church North St. New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
