Obituary of Henry Dawson

Henry S. Dawson, 95, of New Britain, passed away Thursday Night Dec. 6, 2012, at an area convalescent home. Born in Hamden, CT, the son of the late Henry and Mary (Macailor) Dawson, he lived most of his life in New Britain. Henry was the owner and operator of Henry's Coffee Shop located in the New Britain Post Office. He will also be remembered for delivery the Hartford Courant to many homes and businesses in New Britain and he was a member of the New Britain Senior Center. Henry is survived by many friends and acquaintances. He appreciated the care he received at Apple Rehab (formerly Ridgeview in) Cromwell, CT. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Dec. 11, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in St Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
