So sorry to hear of Hank's passing, but so glad that I had the pleasure of meeting him.
He was such a warm and approachable person who you liked as soon as you met him. I remember a couple of years ago we were catching up in front of the Stop & Shop grocery store as he was collecting donations for the VFW. A young woman carrying a baby came up to us and asked Hank to hold her baby so she could find her wallet so she could make a donation. He had a huge grin on his face and a twinkle in his eye as he held the baby....I can't forget the look on his face and the fact that this woman trusted him with her baby. He was a special person and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you Nancy.

Hank was a kind, gregarious man always ready to shake hands and share a story. We got to know him once he was wallpapering. He'd occasionally call Denis for some assistance or advice on an issue with papering. Afterward, he'd come by our house with sundaes for the whole family or sweet rolls as a thank- you. He'd send us Christmas cards with a signature as big as his smile. Our sincere condolences to your family.

Dear Nancy and family.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. You did your very best taking care of both your parents. I met your father when I worked at New Britain Bank and Trust in the late 60's. He was a kind gentlemen, charming smile and always had interesting stories to share. He will be missed by all who knew him especially our St. Paul parish family...

We have many great memories of Hank, both here at home and back at the St. Paul Friary. His wall paper jobs are still a constant reminder. More importantly, we will remember his kind and effervescent personality, which was so engaging. He always had a good word whether on the job or at the parades and memorial services. His military, civil and social service will not be forgotten. Condolences to Florence, Nancy and David, as well as all the family.

Nancy,
Someone told me when my mom passed to "always keep her in the present." Doing that has brought me much comfort; perhaps it will you as well.
Jean speaks so often of Hank, always in admiration of his caring strength and determination.
I, as well as Jean's friends June Dion and Laurette Bryzgel, want to express our sincere condolences.
From what Jean has told us, you've been an invaluable caretaker for your folks. God bless you.

I was saddened to read of Mr. Peasley's passing. I have worked at the Berlin movie theater for many years and was always happy to see him come in. I enjoyed our brief encounters and he was always so pleasant and courteous. I will miss seeing his smiling face!
