Jeannette Ouellette, 93, widow of Julien Ouellette, gently passed away with her family at her side at Autumn Lake Health care on April 3, 2017. Jeannette was born in Wallagrass Plantation, ME, to Felix and Gertrude (Dumond) Deprey, and was a resident of New Britain since 1951, she was formerly employed by the Fafnir Bearing Co., for 35 years, retiring in 1986. She leaves her loving children; her daughter, caregiver, and advocate, Ida Morell, of CT, her daughter Debra and husband Daniel Wright of ME, her son Leonard and his wife, Evelyn (Carey) Ouellette of New York; her foster son, Ronald Hopkins of CT; two sisters Viola Marquis and Frances Montanaro and her companion, Camille Guerrette of CT; a sister in law, Leone Ouellette of ME; son in law, Andre’ Morell of MO, son in law, Salvatore D’DAlfonso of CT; her grandchildren, Giselle Perez, Alicia and her husband Larry D’Orsi, Salvatore D’Alfonso, Jr, Victoria and Shannon Wright; Henry Perez and Sue D’Alfonso; two step-grandchildren, James and his wife Amy Carey, Jonathon and his wife Crystal Carey; six great grandchildren, Amanda and her husband Todd Mongillo, Carly, Connor, Jack D’Alfonso, Matthew, Alexandra D’Orsi; three step great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Adelyn and Mya Carey; one great great grandchild, Giada Mongillo; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Stella D’Alfonso and three brothers, Maurice, Alberie and Philip Deprey; two sisters, Rita Thibeault, Jeannie Bouchard; her daughter in law, Solange (Geneau) Ouellette.
Friends and family are asked to go directly to St. Francis of Assisi Church 1755 Stanley St. New Britain for a Mass of Catholic Burial at 10:00 AM Saturday (Apr. 8, 2017). Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery New Britain. Pall bearers will be Salvatore, Matthew, Connor, Todd, Jack and Larry. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 Pm at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin sq. New Britain. The family wishes to express their grateful appreciation to the wonderful staff at Autumn Lake Health Care of New Britain, especially Station 4 who took exceptional care of mom. They would also like to thank Masonicare Partners Home Health and Hospice.
