My deepest condolences to Pete's family. Pete was a patient at the doctors office I work at. I had the pleasure of getting to know him over the past 2 years. Pete always had a smile for us and a kind word. I know your not suppose to show favoritism to patients, but Pete was one of the few we put on the top of our list. He never failed to tell us, "You're good girls." and as we are both over 50, it made our day! At the end of his appointment, he would often come right back in with a brown bag in hand containing cookies for us that he stopped to pick up. I am saddened that I never got a chance to say goodbye. Life is like that, we never know when we encounter people, that it may be for the last time. I feel blessed to have gotten the chance to spend the time with him that I did. As Pete always said before leaving our office, "Thanks Kid!" You'll be missed Pete.

Bea & Jeanette. So sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I will treasure the time I spent with him when I was a child while he was building houses and lunch time at your Mom's house. Sorry for your loss. Pete was a friend from the YMCA whom I saw almost everyday. He always took the time to say hello and chat. He is already missed at the YMCA as he was a legend and fixture there. He is in my prayers. God bless all of you

I had known Pete for over 50 years through my membership at the New Britain YMCA. He was a faithful regular in the health club. He always had a friendly "Hello" to say when I saw him and was a kind sociable person. He took care of himself very well over the years and looked at least 20 years younger than his age. He will be truly missed. My prayers to him and condolences to his family.
