Obituary of Richard G. Satalino

Richard G. Satalino, 59, of Newington, died unexpectedly Tuesday night at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Daniel and Ruth (Thoma) Satalino , he lived many years in New Britain and Newington. He was well known as an avid sports fan, who loved to watch the New York Yankees, the New York Giants and the UCONN Huskies. Richard is survived by his wife Lorraine (Kasak) Satalino, his daughter Sara Satalino of Rocky Hill, his son Michael and his wife Tina Satalino, and their son Jonathan, of Southington, two sisters Donna and her husband Gary Rosenthal of Morristown, NJ, Nancy and her husband Dean Butterfield of El Paso, TX, a sister in law Sheryl Satalino of Minnesota, an uncle Johnny Thoma of FL, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Danny Satalino. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
