It was with great sadness that I read of Patty's passing. The last time I saw her was during the Run for the Cure at Walnut Hill Park several years ago. We walked together and tried to catch up on not seeing each other for thirty years. It was so much fun. I was as if we were back at St. Joseph's School. She had not changed still always smiling. Know that you are in my prayers and thoughts as you go through this difficult time. Sincerely, Lorraine McCormack Gibson St Joseph's School

For Michael , the boys , their wives and wee ones . Please know that you are all held in our thoughts and prayers at this sorrowful time . It will seem so very difficult to get through the reality of her passing .Everything which is familiar will seem strange and somehow empty without her being there .When you feel like this , please know that she has left you all with her gift of love as a family , and together , you will look out for each other, cry with each other , hug one another , and allow yourselves to miss her . You are all with us in Spirit .... with much love... May and all the family . Stay close , there are so many memories of lives shared together, which will unite us in this sad time . For those who die in grace , go no further than God , and God , is very near .

Aunt Pica as we all so affectionately called her. What a wonderful photo of the dynamic, kind and so very attractive personality Auntie Pica possessed. As I opened this link my eyes filled with tears. Tears of sorrow and tears of joy. Sorrow for the great lose the family, friends and relatives are experiencing right now. Joy for all the laughter, love and genuinely fond memories we will never let go of. Aunt Pica gave me one of the greatest compliments of my father I have ever received. She loved the way he danced. She adored him tremendously. The last time I saw her she mentioned that little tidbit again. And then went on to tell me what a great man he was. I was instantly filled with peace. Filled with my own admiration for a man I was just beginning to get to know as a man myself. I am forever grateful for the kind and gentle words I received that day. How fitting those words from such a kind and wonderful women herself. I love you Aunt Pica.....see you in heaven.
